1) Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Baron FM (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares data in the Baron FM mobile app
(package: com.brnflow.baron.baronfm) and on our website brnflow.com.
It covers Firebase sign-in/sign-up, referral codes, demo “web miner” counters, public guest chat (if enabled), and our streaming provider.
Data We Collect
- Account data: Email address, username/nickname, Firebase UID. Passwords are handled securely by Firebase Authentication.
- App data: Accrual counters (available / escrow / refEscrow), referral code used/owned, server timestamps.
- Public guest chat (if enabled): Messages you submit and your chosen display name.
- Streaming provider technical data (Live365):
Our radio stream is delivered by Live365.
As a hosting and broadcasting provider, Live365 may process IP addresses, user-agent information, connection data, and basic playback diagnostics
in server logs for delivery, security, and anti-abuse purposes.
We receive only aggregated, non-personal metrics from this provider.
Not collected by Baron FM: We do not collect personal, user-level playback analytics.
We do not collect contact lists, precise location, or advertising IDs.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are disabled in our current build.
Purposes of Use
- Account creation, authentication, and session management.
- Operating accrual counters and referral systems.
- Providing public chat and preventing abuse.
- Streaming delivery via Live365; maintaining reliability and security.
- Legal compliance and responding to user requests.
Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We use the following processors:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore).

Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract (to provide access to the service).
- Legitimate interests (service reliability, security, abuse prevention, stream delivery).
- Consent where required by local law (Analytics/Crashlytics are disabled, therefore not applicable).
Retention
- Account & accrual data: Stored while your account remains active and as required by law.
- Public chat messages: Retained for up to 24 months for safety/moderation, then deleted or anonymized.
- Technical/server logs: Hosting/CDN/Live365 may retain logs for a limited period (e.g., up to 90 days).
Future Changes (after obtaining broadcasting license)
If we enable user-level playback analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and obtain
consent where required (e.g., EEA/UK). Google Play Data safety declarations will also be updated.
Until this change is announced, such analytics are not collected by Baron FM.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing.

Security
All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption. Administrative access is restricted. No method is 100% secure.
International Transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country (e.g., EU or US) with appropriate safeguards.
